Homecoming 2006
Saturday, October 21st, witnessed howling winds whipping down the Stillwater river valley, carrying flurries of leaves, lunch plates, napkins, and hats, while a brilliant sun bathed the river in the reflections of a symphony of gold, yellow, and orange.

The football game was televised this year and a Beta gang of many different decades crowded in the living room around the big-screen tv to watch Maine pound Hofstra 21 to 10.

After the game Beta Etas formed a large Loving Cup circle and sang, roughly, but with great enthusiasm, under a grand backdrop of sparkling river and a sunset of pink and blue clouds marching at the command of Fall’s blustering winds.

The undergrads hosted a fine buffet meal prepared by house cook Karen Davis in the new kitchen, and the place was packed from end to end. All in all, to be marked as a sucess.
